Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial

This patriotic puppy was so well-behaved when on an adventure at the National Mall. We met lots of new people and the older veterans near the Vietnam Wall Memorial were sure happy to see me. I gave them some extra love to thank them for their service. We played at the duck pond for a while and I watched the geese swim around while gazing at the Washington Memorial. These pretty trees should bloom soon with the cherry blossom flowers and we will come back to take more pictures then. We toured around the grounds and walked along the Vietnam War and World War II Memorials. My puppy paws were so tired at the end of the day but it was such a beautiful day!

The grounds are so peaceful. We took a nice long stroll on the walking paths.
These trees around the duck pond are all going to be full of pink cherry blossoms soon!
It is overwhelming to walk along the Vietnam Wall. The amount of panels full of names brings a sense of gravity to how many lives were lost.

Boy lots of people are asking to come pet me. I keep giving people puppy kisses. It’s like I’m one of the attractions.
The World War II Memorial. We are going to need to come back and take pictures of this at night with the water flowing. It will be another beautiful sight.
Of course we had to take a moment by Texas 😉
